Scarlet’s in Covent Garden has a brunch menu that will make you dribble. I headed down yesterday to kick off my favourite persons birthday celebrations and feasted on avocado toast, runny poached eggs and crispy bacon; all washed down with Bloody Mary’s and Bellini’s. The place is fairly new and slap bang in the middle of Leicster Squares bustling theatre district. It’s open early til late so if you’re in the area shopping, sightseeing or exploring then it’s the perfect place to unwind over really good food and great cocktails. We sat outside after brunch to enjoy our drinks in the sunshine and it was an extremely enjoyable and peaceful experience considering where we were. All in all the foods good, the decor is very cute and the location is nice and central. My favourite thing about the place was the plates our food was served on and I would do pretty much anything to get my hands on them. It took every last shred of dignity for me to not slip them into my handbag after I’d licked the plate clean.
