WHEN I MET WHEN MAC MET CHEESE PART 2.

When Mac Met Cheese is one of those things that only pops up once in a while and when it does I always make sure I get down there to stuff my gob with the cheesiest most delicious macaroni & cheese on the planet. I always go for the Mum’s Classic because it’s just generally the most heart warming, carby, cheesy serving of deliciousness and you can’t go wrong with a classic. This time, in their weekend long pop up in Translate Bar on the Kingsland Road they were offering the chance of adding bacon or pulled pork to your order. I obviously went for pulled pork being the good Jew that I am and I swear to god it was the most wonderful combination anyone has ever thought up. The cocktail list was amazing but this was a purely stomach lining, food focused outing and I didn’t want to ruin that with a drink! We obviously couldn’t say no to the deep fried Oreos for dessert which were, as always, out of this world. You all need to follow these guys on all means of social media so you can make sure you’re at their next pop up. Thank me later.
