It’s safe to say that in this day and age you cannot escape social media, but more specifically, if you follow me of any social media networks, then you’ll know that you cannot escape my meals. I don’t know what it is and I don’t know why it happens but for as long as I can remember I have loved nothing more than making people jealous with constant uploads of what I’m eating.
I guess the fascination stems from my love of food but I think the need to show off about it has something to do with the reactions I get from each picture. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I’ve made everybody hungry.
I work at Topshop, In central London as a Stylist in their flagship store and although my job has nothing to do with food I spend most my day giving out detailed descriptions of where to go and what to have for lunch to my colleagues and customers. The thing that really sparked me to do this blog though was the overwhelming amount of messages I have received from people, some that I’ve not spoken to in years, asking for restaurant recommendations.
So now I have decided to put my extensive culinary knowledge to good use and do something with it. Hence, this blog, my new baby… hashtagfoodporn. Probably not the best name for a food blog and how original is food blogging anyway but I feel that I have an audience, and if you know me at all, you’ll know I love an audience.
